What Final Cut Pro format(s) can FFMPEGX handle?

Hello!

I'm new here (and to FFMPEGX) and I hope to find a answer to this question:

1. Is is possible to get a file from FINAL CUT PRO 3, so that FFMPEGX can make a DIVX from it? (As a source for FCP I have 3 DV-streams.)

- Quicktime? (what settings for best quality?)
- Final Cut Pro movie file?
- any other: maybe VOB?

Almost any format can be read for DivX encoding with ffmpegX, including raw DV streams, VOBs and Quicktime. Give it a try and if you need help you can email me to major4@mac.com
