  1. I am attempting to convert a divx file of the Jet Li Film "Tai Chi Master" to a dvd mpeg file using TEMPGenc. The end result has confused me very much. The end result was the creation of two files, both entitled "Tai Chi Master." The first file is a wav audio file sized 1.02 GB and the second is a M2V file sized 2.79 GB. Both of them put together is the size that I set with TEMPGenc when I began the conversion. I am wondering why the audio and video were split? Is this normal? I was set to author and burn with TEMPGenc DVD Author, but now am not sure how to do this. Is there a way that I can load both files for authoring, should I just load the video file, or did I completely mess this up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there is a setting with TMPG, "save as elementary streams". that's what you've done - the wav is your audio, the m2v is your video stream. you can either multiplex (mux) them together using the Mpeg Tools in TMPG, or you should be able to import them both into your authoring software.

maybe you should back up from the disc, instead of a divx file...
