  1. For some reason it wont let me access videos that were previously in a cue/bin file format it says that theres an error opening the video and ive used vcd gear to extract the video as well as just extracting it and it doesnt work either way and i already raised the priority of the direct show option in my vfapi settings

  5. Is this a MPG that you extracted from a VCD ?

Have you tried frameserving using vdub ? This is a very effective method of supplying TMPGenc with uncompressed video.

  7. I oticed before that TMPGenc would not allow me to open a mpg extracted from vcd. So Under MPEG tools, I used the multiplex option to remultiplex the video file and then it opened no problem in TMPGenc. Give it a try.

...also, if it's a cue/bin for a SVCD, the mpeg is mpeg2, which TMPGEnc can't read on its own. Try installing PowerDVD (trial version is fine), since last time I looked, TMPGEnc can use the mpeg2 decoder of PowerDVD to open mpeg2.
