Hi, trying to make a basic dvd for testing purposes so i can get a hang of Maestro and finally make my complete project.
Anyways I loaded in my .m2v, 2 audio tracks, and a subtitle track...
I loaded in an image into menu1, and made a area selection button right clicked on it to associate it with the movie. (movie is only 300mb long this is just a test).
ok so then i configures first play to be the menu, and such, and the button will play the movie, and then i compiled.. so now i have this video_ts folder on my HD, so i figure ill preview it with PowerDVD I load in the Video_ts folder into powerdvd and then press play, the menu pops up real quick and then boom into the movie, this is fine... but the movie has no sound and no subtitles playing...
I admit i have 0 experience with authoring in maestro and am tring to learn but I dont know what im doing wrong...
Im gona try burning onto a RW to test in my dvd player now, but i hate doing that as it takes 30 mins to erase the disc again...
If anyone is a seasoned pro in Maestro or has experience and could possibly help me get started e-mail me, pm or something, or reply in here.. ive followed the guides on here of course and a few things go over my head...
Thanks

Ok i burned my VIDEO file using NERO, and it works great!
The menu starts up, I only have 1 button to navigate with as thats what i was testing that i could get the movie to start...
So the movie runs with sound and it was great, so i changed audio tracks and it worked(with button on dvd remote during play), i then turned subs on and it worked!! I was so happy lol! My first author with Maestro and everything worked fine
Ok now all I need to do is make a menu which lets me go into another menu for Episode Selections, Audio/sub selection, and a Extras menu.
My problem is this though. Seeing as I have 13 movies, and each movie has 2 audio tracks and subs, if i select japaneese audio in an audio menu how do i get it to make ALL the movies start with the jap audio?
Should I just screw making an audio menu and just have it so the button on the remote changes it? I wouldnt mind this but if someone watching the anime doesnt know there is a second audio track they would never get the full effect.
Is it possible to link stuff together?
For example: Say my user enters the audio menu and it has 2 choices, english, and japaneese. If they select english its just default audio, but if they select japaneese not only will it start with jap audio but it will turn on subtitles for the japaneese audio as well. BUT if i turn on subtitles and dont touch the audio(leave it at english) it just turns on subs but not the japaneese audio as well. I only want the subs linked with jap audio one way not both ways.
Any help
