  1. I was successfully able to convert .ogm to mpg2 and burn to DVD. But how would I go about converting .ogm to DVD with switchable on/off subtitles and switchable languages included? None of the guides I followed seem to give any information on this topic. Can anyone help?

Use srt2sup(convert the subs to ifoedit format) and author to dvd with ifoedit. This is very complex but it is the only free way of doing it.

Other dvd authoring tools with subtitle support:
    Sonic Scenarist
    DVD Maestro
    Adobe Encore DVD
and use subtitle workshop to convert the subs.

  3. I used VdubMod and demuxed the text stream to .srt format. I successfully opened this with subtitle workshop and was able to see the subtitles so I attempted to "save as," to the ifoedit format you specified, there are lots of formats but I don't see ifoedit. So then I attempted to open the .srt file with srt2sup (I Did click on the "srt file tab") and I recieved "warning-no bitmap or text found". What am I doing wrong?

  4. So basically, my question is: how do I convert .srt to .ifo using Subtitle Workshop?

  5. Okay, after some more careful research I loaded up the .srt in srt2sup but only after a long string of "warning-no bitmap or text found." I hope this is normal.

  6. Hi, are you sure you are importing the correct format of .srt file?

It appears that you have tried to import a TEXT format srt file as BITMAPS.

    regards
