Nero refuses to burn !!

Hi y'all
I got Nero 6 and it's impossible to burn with it. It keeps on complaining that "drive is in use by another application" , but its NOT (I promise)
What shall I do?

Try to run the neroclean.exe they provide if you upgraded from version 5.0.... it seems to have some bugs if you don't completely get rid of the old version first... "do it after you uninstall it".. which by now you have.. but I guess in your case what I mean is uninstall 6.0.. then run it to get rid of traces of 5.0.. then reboot and reinstall...

another thing the techs were telling me you can try first if you like.. is to remove all traces of cdroms period in device manager.. then let windows find your drive all over again. I've never had that problem but I had numerous techs argue with me that that what I should do If I do a firmware update of my plextor drive.... (I don't know if it will apply to you)..
and lastestly..... don't install the latest 6.0015 version of nero.... major bugs!!!!! too long to discuss now.. install the one before that.. or any one for that matter.... 6.0011 works well.
Let me know if you need help finding the older version of nero off their ftp site.. or the neroclean they provide..
