HELLO,
I have a Digix Media DVD Player DV-288 Version 1.4.
The DVd player has been hacked and set to Region 0 (So in theory it's
Region free).
I want to play English Region 0 and Region 2 DVDs(But before I send off
for any I want to know I'll have some way to play them).
I'm concerned that although the DVD Player and the Region 0 disc both
should be universal, my TV will not be able to deal with the English PAL
signal.
I've heard some DVD Players have onboard signal converters which
translate the PAL signal into NTSC.
Would this particular model of Digix Media do this?
I've consulted the manual that came with the DVD Player, but it's rather
sketchy - dealing with TV attachments and how to use the remote control.
No technical stuff.
Could I get a signal converter to go with this particular DVD Player?
Basically, what do I need to do to get the Digix Media to play English
DVDs( I don't think this is the model specifically set up to switch between
PAL and NTSC)
Any data on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
