Macrovision. If you downloaded the files, there is little you can do. If you are capturing the files you can use your capturing program to defeat the Macrovision. But until you give me more details, I had better stop here.
    Hello.

  6. well, i downloaded avi files,i didn't capture them from dvd.
so there's nothing i can do to stop the colour from turning blue?????

i thought macrovision is used to protect dvd's, not avi files...

Post a copy of your avisynth script so that we can take a look at what you have done. Sometimes I add the line ConvertoYUY2() after the avisource line.
    This is so much fun!

Can you play this script with media player? Just try playing the script with media player to see how it looks. Also there is a forum at http://www.doo9.org that is devoted to avisynth
    This is so much fun!

I am just trying to systematically assist and I know that avisynth has many ways to correct problem. I once had similar problems with my codec. I had these problems when trying to view Xvid with a DivX codec. I wasn't seeing red's and blues but instead was seeing greens and blacks. Is this file a Divx or an Xvid. Try using Gspot to identify the codec used.
