  1. i saved the sound as wav in virtual dub then used tmpgenc to make convert to mpeg2 then used tmpgenc dvd authoring to make a dvd but when i play it the sound starts to go out of sync about half way through the film but it was fine to start with can any one help please

    Did you scan for bad frames yet? Does the sound drift slowly out of synch, or goes out suddenly?

    If it gradually goes out of synch with the video :

    EG it plays fine at the beginning, but by the end is obviosuly not in synch, or as you say, after checking half-way, its obviosuly out of synch

    Check out the guide on here that claims to cure gradual audio desynch, which is what it sounds like you are gettings

    It certainly sounds easier and quicker than some of the other guides on trying to fix gradual audio desynch

    Not tried it myself yet though


    Do a search in the guides for something like gradual loss of audio synch that should find it
