No help on this board RE: ac3!!!

Why wont anyone (especially the admin/mods) help anyone with Ac3 conversions? Ok i have seen a few topics in the forums, and people crying out for help with ac3, but do they ever get wot they want? NO!

They have just been told how to extract the AC3, but wot about converting it? I have tried, tmpgenc wont take it! The only way i have found is by adding the AC3 to the authoring program, is this the correct way of doing it???

Now lets see if we get any replies! This isnt a big secret, u can tell us like!

And just to put one thing straight, i am not giving any attitude, its the way YOU have interpreted it!

I have asked many questions on this forum, with no replies.

I'm sure the mods/admins are here to help. Baldrick is a great guy on this board, i have noticed he always gives his best, thats all.

I just need an answer, is that too much to ask? it would have saved u copying n pasting the links really, think about it (although the links werent helpful, but i appreciate u replying).

If you took the time to go to the doom9 link I provided, you would have seen a tutorial on how to make AC3.
It couldn't be made any clearer.

Did you check the guides page (link is on the left)? Plenty of info there for converting AC3 files to whatever format you like.

I know how to make ac3, i extract it with VD then fix with besliced, but tmpgenc wont take it, only the author excepts it?

All i want to know is, do we use it in tmpgenc plus or tmpgenc author?

The problem is you don't know what your doing, so you don't know what to ask. Stop whining.

No one is crying for AC3 conversions. It's painfully simple to convert. BeSweet does it just fine, GUI addon and all.

Now you said Convert AC3 and Authoring program in the same breath. Why? They are mutually exclusive. Either you are authoring a DVD and you want AC3 soundtrack. Or you are making a KVCD/SVCD and you want MP2 (use BeSweet). Don't even consider PCM sound.

Now, as soon as the red clears from your eyes, if your authoring program doesn't support AC3 sound, then there's your problem.

I'll try to answer simply;

To convert AC3 use BeSweet or AC3 machine.

TMPGEnc will not process AC3 files. You must add the AC3 file in TMPGEnc Author.
