  1. Hello, I have done a perfect VCD compliant at white book ,I
    have burn it using my nero 5.5 and everything is perfect ,i got all the condition for VCD 2.0 ( white book ) ,I have a sony DVD ,and i watch all the original VCD coming from the Hong kong and other far east countries ,and i have success to burn a VCD onto a CD-RW ricoh ,and all other kind of CD-R did not work ,my dvd player refuse read any other type of CD-R ,( NO disks : this message is shawn when I insert another kind of CD-R) ,so what do you thing about this big problem ,anybody can help me please ?

  2. Most Sony DVD players have difficulty reading CD-Rs but can read CDRWs.

  3. Khouliou, you didn't mention what model you have. I have a Sony DVP-NS 400D player and it has played EVERY CDR I've thrown at it.

    BTW: Sears will pricematch anything found on the Internet. I found my lowest price back in June and Sears matched it. I got it for $183

    I have had lots of problems getting reads from my Sony in the past and I ran across bulk CDs from BestBuy's online site ( http://www.bestbuy.com) They are packaged in a case of 500 but work great with my Sony and end up costing $20 per 100.

    i have sony dav-s300 - tried alot of cdr's without success
    but eventually found one that works - vivastar 80min which you can buy in argos - 50 for 25 quid in ROI
