I recently ripped the SRT files from my OGMS with virtualdubmod, anyways there were 2 formats, English unformatted, and Enlish Formatted. No idea what the difference is so if someone knows please tell me.

Anyways the real problem is this, how do i convert my subtitles from a .str to a format playable in Maestro? I hear its .stl, and .son. Ive tried a few programs to try and do this and none have seemed to work...

If anyone knows what im doing wrong or a sure way to convert from .str-.son or .stl(which ever is the better one..)

Also subtitles follow the movie by time intervals right? So the subs come up at certain time intervals that are set, at least this is what I thought. Somone else was telling me they are based on the fps of the original movie you ripped. In my case that was a file that had a diff FPS than what i am using for my MPEG-2's as im using a 23.976fps with 3:2 pulldown.

If anyone can clear this up for me would appreciate it a ton!
