I know MPEG2 at 352x240 is a valid resolution for DVD video. My question is, since it's MPEG2, can you use VBR? Or are you stuck with CBR? Is there a max bitrate for MPEG2 352x240, like there is for MPEG1 352x240? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

I think I read that officially, the 352x240 resolution is not valid, however I have repeatedly imported 352x288 (PAL) MPEG-2 streams in Scenarist, which is very particular in validating Video Streams.

All the MPEG-2 streams I imported were VBR, with an average bitrate of 2500kbps.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
