I can't convert my shrek divx to VCD... it has the picture but no sound.... please help and one more question...

I'm using virtualdub and after I viewed it but having problem with it... its giving me a gray border on the bottom and whenever the movie is moving up and down it messes up the whole picture... can someone tell me how to make it right... I followed the guide... but didn't coreect problem!!!! Thanx

2. using virtualdub do what? convert divx to what? or?

when I encode the audio... it only encodes 20 mins of it...
and the rest is silent...
