    Sort of a newbie question here...

    What program is the easiest for making
    chapters + a menu (w/background image and stills ) (Nero style menu)
    out of 1 large mpg file ?

    i think your problems are just beginning. Nero Vision has a lot of bugs. see other threads.
    I said I'll be done in a minute. I meant a Microsoft minute.

    Nope, did a test VCD on cd-rw. No problems at all.
    Chaptering and menus (non-animated), took some 1 hour
    and great results.

    Forgot to set the font on the menu though and got unreadably
    small text though.

    But I have to admit, VCDeasy has so far been the fastest and best
    for basic chaptering and I'll stick to that if I don't want a menu with flashy-gadgets.
