Sorry Kann, Xpress only copies over 1 audio channel, and most of the time, you have to let it guess, especially if you want the 5.1 channel, and it picks the 2.0 or Dolby Surround channel! So, in your case, you could either pick English or Spainish, or whatever, but only 1 of them.

You can use the 'Entire Disk' option and it will copy everything.

Not true- the current version of Xpress (3.0.2) (and the one before that) give you the Entire Disk option. You do not need Gold.

I forgot Bobk, yes, with 3.0 or newer, it does have the "copy whole disc" option, however, I haven't used it, so I can't give any opinions on it.

I use Xpress all the time. I've only used the Entire Disc option 5-6 times, but it works great and is relatively fast (not quite as fast as Decrypter, but for 2 layer to 1 layer or Movie only I prefer Xpress.)

Hey Bob, do you find it difficult to make DVD Xpress pick the right audio channel? As I said before, I got very fraustrated with it only copying the 2.0 Surround, when I knew that there was the 5.1 Surround on the disc. I think it takes the smaller audio channel when the movie is larger to keep the movie quality. I don't know.

I'm pretty sure that when you select Entire Disc- it copies the entire disc including all the sound streams. The only times I've used the Entire Disc option was on DVDs that didn't have 5.1 sound.

When you only copy the movie I'd guess it selects the smaller audio.

With DVDXCopy XPress you CAN choose the audio. When you first open it and get to the panel where the options button appears in the bottom left corner. click on options. For audio, select "ASK ME". Save the options.

From now on, when you do a movie, an audio panel will appear with all the different audio tracks listed. Pick the one you want.

Yes Chips, I know about the "Ask Me" thing. But before version 3.0, you had to hope that the doofy program would copy the right audio stream. That's why I stopped using it and switched to DVDShrink, because I can have total control over what gets copied.
