    Guys,

I have a problem, i converted an Avi (Divx) to Mpeg2 with Tmpgenx, with the videostream M2v en audiostream Mp2 seperately, did a 3:2 pulldown on the video with the GUI Pulldown version, because that give me better results than Tmpgenc. After that i load the video and audio stream in the DVD-Lab assets window. They both have the 'OK' status, then i designed the menus and gave all the menu's some background music, these are MP3's wich are converted to a MP2 file. No problem so far, when i build the DVD in dvd lab the status/log window say that everythings fine and ready to be burned on dvd, but when i play my VOB's in VLC only the menu's have audio and the movie has no Audio. What is wronh here, i know when i use audio in DVD-Lab they all must be in the same format, wich i did (MP2) maybe some of you guys can help me out here !!

    Thanx
    Michael M.

are all the audio files exactly the same? if your menu audio is a different format than your movie audio, it can cause problems - DVD Lab has problems with mixing audio formats in a project.

The audio that i use for the menu is exactly the same as the movie audio, Mp2 320kbs stereo 48Khz and is 3.21 minutes in lenght, i even tried to give the menu the same audio file that te movie uses, and that gives me the same problem, after compiling i have only audio in my menu and not in my movie, i think Mediachance must seriously look at this problem beacuse it is trivial for me an many others who are looking for a good authoring program, asside from the audio problem DVD-lab is a very good authoring program, maybe the best on the market today !, so if one of you guys have a solution it will be great (by the way i'm useing the last version of dvd-lab (1.3Beta).

what bitrate did you use for your video?

and try removing the audio from your menu, recompiling, and testing the movie in PowerDVD or burn it to a rewritable disc - does the movie audio play okay?

  5. Maybe you should try converting the mp2 audio to ac3 using BeSweet, then import the ac3 files. I know that not all DVD players will play mpeg2 audio (which I don't understand why since the video is in mpeg, it only stands to reason that mpeg audio might also be used).
