I have captured a .avi file from my Sony Digital8 Camcorder and tried to encode it using Dr. Divx. The audio and video play fine when I capture it, but after encoding it using Dr. Divx, the video is fine, but the audio is very low pitched and very slow. Is this a problem with how I am capturing the file? I am using a firewire connection and have captured using various applications. Is this a Type-1 versus Type-2 problem? If so, which one should I be capturing with and which applications will let you specify?
Thanks for all advice.
