I'm currently using DVD-lab but it has proven un-reliable particularly with it's compatibility. Still to buggy at this point as well. I'd like to switch to another authoring program with the same features.

Does anyone know of another software out there that can perform the same functions (motion menu's, text chapter links, motion background music, etc...)?

I bought a DVDR off ebay a while back and it was put together nicely but the seller will not reveal the authoring software he used to make it. It has text menu's and a motion background with auidio. Also, one of the still backgrounds in the 2nd menu is of an outer-space scene with stars and a blue blackhole type thing in the lower left corner. By using DVD Decrypter, I can tell that it's using PCM audio, MPEGII VBR, and it was created with PINNACLE, the volume label says LOGICAL LABEL. Anybody know what kind of Pinnacle authoring software that could be? I don't think it's Studio 8 since I have that and don't see where you can use PCM audio.

    Any suggestions?

Is there a way to determine what video and/or audio authoring software program was used to make a DVDR?

    Thanks for the help,

  3. Adobe Encore is the first one that comes to mind. There's this Linux program called 'Architect' (IIRC I haven't used it but all reviews are good).
