I am trying to write these dvd+rs that i have onto my computer as iso files. I try using DVD Decrypter and at 88% it fails every time b/c of bad sectors. The DVD works perfectly in a dvd player. Does anyone know why this is and how to get around it?
Thanks,
Adam

DVD might be scratched or dirty!
You can start by cleaning it with a soft cloth and giving it another go. If the errors aren't too many, maybe you'll end up with a working backup!
Remember to set DVDdecrypter to ignore read errors.
If cleaning the DVD fails, then most likely you have a damaged/scratched DVD. You could give it a go with IsoBuster in order to obtain an image. Be prepared to wait for a long time to rip though...
I remember spending two days trying to backup a DVD-9 that my girlfriend at the time used as a coaster! I got some 750 read errors and although i managed to get an image of the disk i waz unable to further process it!!
No need to tell you i was finally forced to buy a new copy of the DVD (dumped the careless girlfriend after a month too!! My scratched original DVD of T2 was the final straw!!!).
Sometimes ya just have to give it up backing up certain disks...
Hope this helps
