Why are so many people on here so quick to jump on others whenever the words "download", "kazaa" or similar file sharing apps are mentioned in a post.

There is no law that says downloading songs or movies etc from file share sites is illegal, it only becomes illegal if the downloaded material is copyrighted,since many posts do not say what was downloaded you cannot assume that the postee has done anything illegal.

Only if the postee says something like "i just downloaded (title of the latest blockbuster film currently only showing in cinema's) from kazaa etc ..........", should another person start screaming "warez", until then it must be assumed that the downloaded material is legal (innocent until proven guilty i think we call it).

actually, he's got a point - the point is, we don't know.

I've said this before - what about all the people in here with Maestro & SpruceUp? I have a sneaking suspicion that they aren't all legit - let's jump on everybody who posts about them, unless they can show us a scan of the dongle.

Baldrick & the mods have made it pretty clear - if it's not explicit ("hey guys - I just downloaded Matrix Reloaded!") then we should assume it's legit.

the answer is everone knows what's up.
It of course crucial that every one is innocent till proven guilty.

and don't tell anyone but I have very little sympathy for the MPAA
RIAA MICROSOFT etc
