    What is the best software to use to capture video from my fire wire? I've tried Adobe Premiere, Unlead Video Studio, and Movie Star 5. But they all seem to be buggy. Does anyone recommend some good software?

    If all you want to do is transfer then DVIO will fullfill your needs just fine. Its when you come to editing and adding effects that you may find that you require something more.
