  1. I'm getting good results with Nero with this burner. I tried CopyToDVD and it worked fine on DVD+RW but I got coasters on three different top quality DVD+R discs.

I thought it would be useful for Optorite owners to share what is and isn't working for them.

    Michelle,

You could post your info in the Writers sections. That way it'll be useful to other owners long after this thread's turned old & gray.

There's even a place to list what media you've had success with.

    :c)
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

    Good question.
I'v had some issues my self with burning s/w and this drive

Nero works on both +/- r/rw

    B's Recorder GOLD5 works on both +/- r/rw

TMPGEnc DVD Author works on -rw NOT -r (would only play -r on 1 of 3 standalones !) not tried + r/rw yet

Mabe the writers section could include some sort of section regarding software (in the same way as the media reports are shown)?

and I wont be using CopyToDVD anyway.

    Cheers

  4. DVD-RW seem to work with any burning software. DVD-R's have consistently failed using DVD-Lab. DVD Decrypter works great with the -R's.

Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

  7. Nero V5.5.10.42 in dvd video mode
dvd decypter for ISO write. Both have worked very well for me.

I have just started to use DVD shrink V3.b5, which I think I am
going to like better than DVD2one.
