  1. I'm sorry this is another post about audio sync problems but i cannot let it go on any longer. For about a month now i have been tolerating a slight synce problem( the audio is faster than the video), but now I just had it. I have tried changing the frame rate, doesn't work, I have tried using avi2vcd application, doesn't work, and tmpgenc is still giving me slightly off vcd mpg's. Can someone please tell me once and for all how to fix this annoying problem!!!!!!!!!

    Most of the guides here will tell you to seperate the audio and video with VirtualDub before encoding. I get sync issues 98% of the time with that method.

    If the file has AC3 or audio that is not supported by the encoder, I create a new video file with the video untouched and the audio converted to uncompressed standard audio. The resulting file will be large, but I have had 100% success using this method.

    Try that and see what you get.....
