  1. I have followed the guide to convert MPEG2 to AVI using VirtualDub MPEG2. The audio is always out of sync. How can I fix this? I am using the Divx 4.12 codec and LameMP3 codec.

    Thanks

  3. I tried the other guide, by using Goldware to extract the audio, then using VirtualDub to do a direct copy of the audio. It still desyncs are places. I compared the 2, and they happen at the exact same places.

You want to go ahead and resynch. Click here. Why are you converting from MPEG to AVI, if I may ask?

Well I am recording some TV shows with my TV Tuner and then sending them to my girlfriend because she doesn't have a VCR yet. AVI is much smaller than MPEG2 so it takes less time to send it to her.

What a guy. Can you capture in AVI and save a conversion step. Some of the available AVi codecs are very efficient and give comparable images to MPEG.
    Hello.

  7. I am not sure if I can capture in AVI. I have a Hauppauge tv tuner. I am using PowerVCR to record.
