    Hello

Ik want to convert an divx file to mpeg2, but i want a m2v file as output
Tmpgenc creates an Mpeg file, what settings do i need in Tmpgenc to make it a m2v file ? and do i have to encode the audio separately ?

    thanx !

  2. You can set Tmpgenc to create seperate files (when you are in the Wizard for creating a DVD file and picking the file name, select Output Video and Audio is individual elementary streams), instead of it saying mpg it will say something like m2v+mp2 (if you pick MPEG Layer 1 Audio) or m2v+wav (if you picked Linear PCM audio) at which you will have two seperate files.

Or you can go into the Tmpgenc MPEG tools and do a simple demux which will take an existing mpg and split it up

  3. If you select dvd video from the tmpgenc wizard menu it will create the files that you want.
    If it's wet, drink it
