Hello,
I am using TMPGEnc 2.520.54.163. and if I try to convert DV to MPEG-2 from my camcorder, it works.
If I edit DV in Premiere 6.5 and export it also in DV format, when I try to load exported DV in TMPGEnc, an error "invalid or unsupported format" occurs.
Where is the problem?
Thanks...

You might be lacking a codec. Try installing one of the DV codecs in the "tools" section to the left.

Sometimes it helps not to try once only ... By trying the same file a second time it works ... sometimes

Hi,
TMPEnc can open DV-2 files but not DV-1 files. At least on my computer. Premiere render DV-1 files so they cant'b opened in TMPEnc for convertion. Check the tool section for a DV-1 <-> DV-2 convertion tool.
Almost forgot, when Premiere capture DV it's in DV-2 format. -
Nice one Stile, cheers. Much appreciated.
