CloneDVD has 3 burning modes, and I'd like to use the one that is best for backing up my dvd's. Also, I should say that i use, DVD Decrypter, Ifo Edit, DVDShrink, and then CloneDVD.

    Ok, the modes are:

    1. Copy DVD Titles - copy one or more DVD titles.

    2. Clone DVD - clone a dvd including all titles and menus.

    3. Write Existing Data - process or write DVD files ISO/UDF images.

I've so far used #'s 1 and 3 to burn back ups (all dvd's worked, cept for skipping in my ps2), which of the 3 is best?
    Thanks 8)

  2. I use option 2 and de-select anything I don't want on the final disc.

Assuming that you have used decrypter and ifo and shrink, then I assume that the disk is all ready down to size and ready to burn, in which case use option 3.

I must be doing something wrong because I use DVDShrink to rip (extracting only the main title and the 6 channel soundtrack) and then immediately run CloneDVD, choosing the first option. After 15 minutes it's done.

On the few occassions that the backup is too large to fit on a DVD, DVDShrink warns me of it being too large but I choose to back it up to the hard drive anyway. CloneDVD then automatically shrinks the information down even further to fit exactly on the disc before burning.
