I have been testing out DVD Lab and really like the application. I have made a few DVDs and they seem to play fine on my player. However, I made one for a friend and it plays on his computer fine, but not his player. The player states that is does not recongize the the format. His player is a Toshiba SD-1700. It is not the nicest player, but my DVD was not a fancy one,,,
Has anyone ran into any issues using DVDLab. The properties on the project look right (NTSC, 720x480 full d1) ,,,,any ideas?

Read this information, might help a little:
https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php?DVDname=toshiba+sd-1700&Search=Search
Most of the time if a disk is not playing and it should, it could be the media used or the way that the DVD was burned. For example, all my players like the DVD-Video option in Nero 5.5.10.20
Others have reported that they only get success when they use and ISO mode 1.02 or 1.05, depending on the player. you might want to experiment with some other options, but I looked up the player in question and it doesn't support RW. You'll have to shell out some money for regular discs in order to test out these theories of mine.
