I could be wrong about this, but I don't think DVD Decrypter just blindly copies the disc when it makes ISO files. I think it may do some things to try to "clean up" the data and make it more DVD-compliant before creating the .iso file. So if Nero did something wrong DVD Decrypter may have fixed it.
Just to clarify my current procedure, i know it's long, but it seemed to get me closer to making a dvd that works in my standalone, actually it does make some "good" just not all the time

Use DVD Decryptor to rip the DVD. DVD FAb to split the DVD into 2 discs, or just one ( if just need the whole movie and it fits on one dvd-r ). Then I am using Img Tool to make an ISO of the folders created by DVDFAB. I am using Record Now to burn the iso.
Sometime it works perfectly, others times my standalone doesn't play them.

Model of DVD Player... samsung DVD M301 I believe.

  3. When you use Nero have you also created a AUDIO_TS folder on the DVDR? When I use Nero I always create a AUDIO_TS folsder and it seems to work fine for me.
