I am owner of a Philips DVD player 710 and a Grundig GDV 130.When I play Anime DVD's which I bought per internet from Hong Kong I have problems with the picture when playing on both DVD players.Vertical movements in the picture are ok but horizontal (camera) movements are a little jerky they are not fluid. Second problem When I use Tmpengc to converte a divx file into mpeg1 vcd format I have the same small problems with the picture when playing on both DVD players.Vertical movements in the picture are ok but horizontal (camera) movements are a little jerky they are not fluid.ON PC the divx files are fluid. Does this have to do with TMPENGC encoder, should I use another encoder and which one. As I have an Philips player with FF/RW problems I nead an encoder which adds GOP sequence headers. Can somebody make an suggestion ??? NormaL ORIGIN VCD'S ARE NO PROBLEM. What about my problem whith Anime DVD's does this have to do with mpeg encoding work from the manufacturer (creator) ? On my grundig player I use norm converter to convert signal from NTSC to Pal 50 Hz perhaps the image problems have to do with that ?
