OK i dont know what forum to ask this in, cause there doesnt seem to be a DVD burning forum. But here goes....

Alright im converting DIVX to VCD, using TMPGenc. I load up the VCD template in TMPGenc, once its done i burn it with NERO. The resulting VCD looks and sounds great. IM extremely happy with the results.

Ok i now want to put these same files onto DVD. I tried it with DVDit Pro, It will burn MPEG1 to DVDs, but it wouldnt accept anything that wasnt 29.97 frames a sec. So i converted the DIVX to 29.97. It still looks great on a VCD.
I then burned a DVD of this same file, and it jumps. It looks like the picture is shaking up a down very fast. So fast that you cant see it shaking, but text on the screen is blurry and when there is text, you can tell its shaking.

Ok i have tried a few different attempts to fix this problem, but nothing works. i even tried encoding the file into a MPEG2, using the DVD template. It has the same result. Has anyone here done anything similar to this, and if so, can you let me know which programs will do the trick? i was thinking about trying the Virtualdub frameserving to TMPGenc, but i dont know if that would solve this either.

Is there another DVD software i can try that might work? I tried making DVDs with Spruceup but i get no sound for some reason.

thanks!
