How do you remove adverts from dvds

Can any one tell me how to remove the adverts from the start of dvd`s if copying the full disc.
I use dvd decrypter to rip them, then either clonedvd or dvd2one & nero to compress and burn. If I delete the vob files dvd2one gives an error and if I use clone you get a blank screen for the duration of the adverts.
All I want to know is how to remove the trailers / adverts at the start of dvds, please help.

After you shrink the contents you can use Ifoedit (see tools section) to modify the menu command sections and change all 'postcommand' to 'precommand'. You should first backup the IFO and BUP files into another directory in case you change something and everthing goes wonky. I'm sorry, but I am at work and do not have the info at hand to give you all the info you need to understand that.
