  1. I'm having a very simple problem with CCE...

I am trying to make a DVD compliant MPEG file. I am pretty sure everything is ok... BUT...

Instead of resizing the avi file, CCE is just basically copying it to a black background. In TMPGEnc I get a nice, perfect sized, full screen MPEG file. But in CCE I get this horrible load of blackness with borders all four sides, and the video, with the same sized resolution as the input just placed in the middle.

This is sort of annoying, because it really defeats the purpose of the encoding to DVD.

    Thanks

CCE doesnt resize-- you must do that yourself with avsynth or v-dub and frame serve to CCE

  3. Oh, ok... thanks.

Is there a tutorial for that somewhere? And does that make the encoding take longer (by frameserving).

    Thanks

yes - tutorials on the left ..

it would take only slightly longer or use tmpgenc or main concept 1.4
