Hi,
as I understood, it's against GNU licence to include some of the binaries in the distribution of ffmpegX (although more and more softwares include either mpeg2enc or mplayer/mencoder in their distribution).
As very often some problems occur from using the bad binaries, can we imagine that both the installer and ffmpegX check the version of binaries I want to install (for the installer) or I want to use (for ffmpegX). Then I'll always know that my problem (if any) has an other source than a bad installation.
Thanks Major if that check is easily intregrable in the next versions.
