HELP!!!!! I am running instantcopy 8 with the latest anydvd.

When I try to make a backup of one of my dvd's, instantcopy 8 tells me that it is copyprotected.

I know that anydvd is running because I can drag and drop the files through windows explorer...and if I use another program such as clonedvd, it works fine.

    Any ideas?

Do you have the latest AnyDVD?

IC8 works fine with my AnyDVD.

I am using ver 1.6.3.2.....its weird.....it says the files are still css. Every other program works fine accessing them.....just not the instantcopy 8.

And when I uninstalled 8....reinstalled 7.....7 no longer works

  5. I had this problem with IC 7. Try the following....

Right click on the AnyDVD Fox Icon in your System Tray. Then uncheck the Safe Mode feature (for some reason this feature defaults to being checked...it should only be checked if you are having a compatibility issue!). IC 8 should be OK to read encrypted DVDs after that.

Thanks...I will try that safe mode trick when I get home....

And to the previous question, I am using a full version of 8....not a beta. I work in techonology at a very large (more than 50,000 people) company and obtained an advance copy.

I got it working with safe mode turned off.

And spidey, regionfree only makes it region free...it does not get you past the copy protection. ANYDVD does both.....so you don't have to rip the disc to your hard drive

    Not True

DVD Region-Free enables DVD copy software such as DVDFab, DVD X Copy XPress, InterVideo DVD Copy, DVD2One, Pinnacle InstantCopy, DVD Shrink and Nero Recode to copy any DVD from DVD drive directly.
