Not sure if this goes here or the computer forum, but here goes. I recently upgraded my CPU from an AMD 2200 to an AMD 2600 (266Mhz FSB). Result CCE encodes slowed down by nearly 40%!?!?
For the same AVS script file loaded in TMPGenc (high quaility) I get ~1.2x source runtime per pass.
With the old CPU in CCE I got ~0.7x source runtime per pass, but now I'm getting 1.25x source runtime per pass.
Anyone have any ideas? It seems that only CCE is running slower so maybe there's some option/variable I need to set in it. I mean for all of my past upgrades CCE runs ~4x faster than TMPGenc, and now they are running at the same speed![]()
Thanks in advance
