    How do you put the AC3 back into a rip.

    need to be a bit more descriptive...or do a search on the forum for "AC3"...what TYPE of rip, VCD, SVCD, DIVX, etc?

    I rip with Smartripper then use Flaskmpeg & the panasonic plugin to goto VCD. I would like to put AC3 back instead of the 2 channel sound.

    in a word, NO, VCD does not support AC3.

    Neither does SVCD, although it has multichannel capabilities.
