    I use a Canopus 100 to download tv and video tape into my pc for reburning to dvd. I've been having problems with intermittent lock up, no matter what software I use for capture. I've tried Pinnacle, Neodvd, and Windv with the same problems. sometimes the capture runs for 4 hours and sometimes for 5 minutes. I have over 80 gig of hd space free and am running an AMD 2400+ with 512 meg of ram. Could the problem be the Microsoft camera, and is there an alternative? Thanx

    Try using DVio. Maybe that will give better results.
