I have movie that my friend gave me with 7 DAT files and I want to delete 5 of them. I earased 5 files and renamed 6 & 7 to 1 & 2. I burnt all folders on the disk but it doesn't work in dvd player anymore. Can someone tell me how to modify ENTRIES.VCD & INFO.VCD files to reflect the change I made in MPEGAV folder. Thanks.

VCDs are not CD-ROMs. You cannot just go around burning the filesystem onto a CD-R as a CD-ROM and expect it to work.
Even if you didn't change anything and just burnt the files as a CD-ROM, it still wouldn't have worked.
Please read here: https://www.videohelp.com/vcd
As for what you want to do, you will need to re-author your VCD with just the source files that you want. I suggest that you use something like Nero or VCDEasy.
