  1. I am having a problem encoding with TMPGenc. I have ripped a movie with smart ripper and DVD2AVi which has been fine.

    Now when I try to load the file in TMPGenc the settings are greyed out and I cannot alter the bitrate setting or change the file size.

    I have tried unlocking it but nothing changes.

    Can anyone tell me what to do please

  3. I have done that but I still cannot open the greyed out areas of tmpgenc.

  4. are you trying to make a vcd or svcd...if you are trying to make a vcd compliant video, it will block out all the boxes except motion precision. You would have to tell it to make a non compliant vcd to get to the 'greyed out' boxes.

    Select Load go into the Extars folder and select the unlock template. Now try to adjust your settings.
