What miniDV can record time lapse?

Hello,
I want to buy miniDV camcorder, but does any miniDV have "timelapse recording' optian, and also the same question for still image video cameras-does any digital still cameras can take a snap in time intervals , for lets say every 1 minute.

I have a Sony DCR-VX700e which can do time lapse. The VX1000 also does and so can the VX2000. The VX700 and VX1000 are no longer made and the VX2000 is big money (as were the others in their time). These are all semi-pro type camcorders though, whether any consumer camcorder can though, I have no idea.
