  1. Hi all,
small question, just to be sure everything is normal.
I'm doing VCD with ffmpegX since a long time. Now I switched to 008b (I guess c has the same features for VCD.
I installed the new binaries as well, as mpeg2enc was changed.

Now doing as usual, with the VCD PAL preset, enabling the terminal, to check what's going on : same messages as usual, but my m1v file is not growing, it's 152 ko since 15 minutes...
    Something wrong ?

    Terminal output :
Encoding started on Tue Sep 16 21:13:58 CEST 2003

    No accelerated IMDCT transform found

a52dec seems a new step there : before I only had the first output lines.

    I am on 10.2.6 with a G3 400DV, latest binaries, all normal I think.

Did anyone experience the same ? Will the encoding start later ? (like it's now working on a temp file I don't see ?) Thanks for any hint. Otherwise I'll have to go back to 007 and old binaries

    Hi again,
however, the "non working" vob is accepted if I use the older versions and ffmpegX and binaries.
Does anyone know what are the requirements of ffmpegX/mpeg2enc to see the vob as "valid" ?
I know it's a difficult question, but maybe there's an obvious trick I can't see.
    Thanks for any hint
