I bought myself one of these last week, and it seems to be a pretty decent drive (basically a re-badged Pioneer A06). Don't see a lot of traffic about it here, though.
It works fine with Nero 6 and VideoStudio 6 for burning CDRs and DVD-Rs (at least so far) . . .
Current (and soon-to-be-upgraded) system is a 733Mhz Pentium 3 w/512MB RAM, and 80GB 7200RPM hard drive. The system doesn't seem to have much trouble keeping up with the drive (although rendering DV to MPEG2 is pretty slow).
