    I've been capturing home movies off my digital video camera for quite some time with no issues. Recently I've been having problems with the audio that comes through. It jumps and skips and just basically sounds pretty bad. Any suggestions on what could be the cause or on what I can check?

    yes - firewire from a JVC digital video camera. Any thoughts?
