    Wanna convert a SVCD from PAL to NTSC. I am going to make it with TMPEG ... do i get better quality if i am making the conversion from my original avi-files or do i have a best quality by converting a SVDC MPEG-2 (PAL) to SVDC MPEG-2 (NTSC)?

    Generally it's alsways best to go back to the original source, in this case your AVI file.
