  1. does anyone know how i can cut out the end of a vob file? i found something called vobedit but don't know how to use it. anyone know how to use it or know of any other software?

  6. Actually, the reauthor section in DVD Shrink is amazing...you should be able to do it with this. Check out this guide and you should be able to figure it out. I've used it many times for cutting scenes.

  7. but i can't open a vob file using dvd shrink. it has to be from a dvd. i just have a vob file. its not from a dvd

  10. Manual Extraction Mode has always worked for me when I couldn't open the file in Chopper XP, so it should work for you...

  12. when i tried manual extraction mode it asked for the length of the video and when i gave the length it said it was wrong. is there someway i can find out the exact length its looking for? vstrip rips dvds. the vob is like 7mins long. its not from a dvd

  13. Play the VOB with Power DVD...should give an approximate length...don't count on Chopper XP being too accurate though.....

    with vstrip you put the length of vob you want by entering the start position of the lba and end of lba in input options,i was able to cut a vob the exact second i wanted.
