  1. I know this has been on the forum before and I have tried Virtual Dub MP3 freeze which says there are no bad frames, and I have tried moving the Direct Show Multimedia to a priority of 4 but I still get to 37% encoding before it says "index of scan line is out of range (240).

Does anyone have any other suggestions please to rectify this.

    Thanks

If the flie reads all the way through in Vdub, just
Frameserve it to TMPGenc from there. That way TMPGenc
    only gets good uncompressed video.

  5. I have tried to framserve it to TMPgenc without success.

I have used the guide, but when it gets to framserver mode, nothing happens.

Also I have tried to open it in TMPgenc but it says it is unsupported.

    Any tips for me please.

Did you open the file in Vdub ?
    Does it play ?
Did you File->Start Frameserver ? and name the output file.vdr ?

Did you open TMPGenc and then open file.vdr ?

    Did that work ?

did you set environmental settings in TMPGenc as per the guide
did you run auxsetup in the vdub folder ?

    ?
