I've tried to play numerous instruments but suck at all of them. The only thing I'm moderate at is piano.

  2. I love to snowboard in the winter, though there aren't too many amazing slopes in the mid-east here.

    Yep, its in Colorado.

I took skiing lessons once on a fake snow surface (no snow where I live), but I have never actually been skiing. I became very sick when the class went on a trip to the mountians and I never really tried agian after that.

@MOVIEGEEK: I know what you mean about the expense. It is not cheep at all. I was able to get my license at a nice discount because I joined my college's flight club. Since it was no profit and had around a hundred members, the costs were controlled very well. And because of the large number of people contributing, they have nice planes as well. If you ever decide to try agian, look for clubs in your area, they offer the best deals but usually require some type of membership requirement. Like mine you have to be a student or alumni of the school to join.

I'm flying out to CA (San Diego) for Thanksgiving. You think they'll have snow that early?

I saw snow in the Rockies in CO when I drove through there early in the summer, but I know this might be a longshot.

And about how far away is Mammouth from San Deigo?

About 350 miles, you might consider Big Bear,CA(Bear Mountain,Snow Summit) it's only 150 miles.Problem is the good snow isn't til December.
