  1. I am using DVD-Lab and I have 2 x titles, each with three VOBs.

    VTS_01_1.vob
    VTS_01_2.vob
    VTS_01_3.vob

    &

    VTS_02_1.vob
    VTS_02_2.vob
    VTS_02_3.vob

When I create the connections in DVD-Lab, how should I do this so that the VOBs follow in the correct sequence when playing back?

Do I simply add one movie frame for each vob, link each frame sequentially and return to the menu at the end? If so will there be any delay in switching between VOBs at playback?

    Thanks
    Pete

Yes, you can do this, but if it were me I'd have DVDLab demux the VOBs (you select the first one in each movie and DVDLab will convert the remainder into one m2v with audio tracks). It takes a tiny bit of time (say five minutes or so per VOB series) but will make playback much smoother.

  3. Thanks, that did the trick.

But 5 mins? wow, how fast is your PC? My HDD is getting full so I guess that was the problem and delay.

    Thanks again for your help.

  4. Yes, you want to have plenty of free, unfragmented hard drive (I have one separate 160gb hard drive just for video).

But I'm only running a P4 2.4gz, with XP Pro. I don't consider it particularly fast nowadays.
